Privacy policy

O-Store is a wholesale marketplace for vehicle parts, operated by Octane Technology in Egypt. This policy covers the website and the O-Store buyer app, which use the same account and the same database.

Only what an order needs:

• Account — your name, company, email address and mobile number. The number is how you sign in.
• Orders — what you bought, from which seller, at what price and on what payment term, plus the delivery city you chose.
• Credit — your credit limit and how much of it is currently used.
• Notifications — if you allow them, a push token for your device, so we can tell you when an order moves.

No location data — the delivery city is chosen from a list. No advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no third-party ad SDKs. Product analytics run on the website only, never in the app.

Only the parties an order actually involves:

• The sellers on your order see the lines they must fulfil, your company name and the delivery city — not your other sellers' prices.
• Our processors: Supabase (database and accounts), Vercel (hosting), Resend (order email), SMS Misr (verification codes).

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

Orders, invoices and their line items are financial records and are kept as required by Egyptian tax law. Everything else is deleted with your account.

You can delete your account in the app under Account → Delete my account, or on this website at the link below. We delete your profile details, cart, wishlist, reviews and notification tokens, and anonymise your name on past orders. We keep the orders and invoices themselves, because they are financial records — we cannot delete those and remain compliant, and we would rather say so than imply otherwise.

Deletion is refused while you have an order still in progress or an unpaid balance, and the reason is shown.
